IRM NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - OVERALL REPORT
Submitted by eddiemays on Thu, 07/26/2007 - 07:19.The 2007 IRM National Championships were hosted by the Royal Southern Y.C. over the weekend of the 20th to 22nd July. Considering the appalling conditions that the middle of England was suffering the weather in the Solent started fairly wet but improved dramatically so that by Sunday the boats enjoyed ideal racing conditions. With several regattas taking place off the north shore P.R.O. Peter Bateson took the fleet to the East and set windward / leeward courses near the Burgess Salmon buoy.
About Us
Submitted by secretary on Tue, 01/01/2008 - 11:36.The Level Racing Class Association was established as a result of RORC's decision to cease sponsorship of the IRM Rating Rule as of the end of 2007, so that interested parties can continue to race on a level basis through 2008 and beyond.
"The IRM Class Association exists to accommodate the requirements of yachting enthusiasts who wish to sail under the IRM Rating Rule.
The Rule is suitable for pure racing boats, embracing modern grand prix one-designs, such as the Farr 40, 1D 35, Mumm 30, Race1/Ker 11.3, IC45 and Farr 52."
